Objectives of the Institute |

|
- No examination or continuing education requirements for practising full membership in the Institute.
- All practising members of Institute to be listed in local and international directories on annual basis as applicable.
- Rotation of all officers of Institute on annual basis as applicable and, or necessary.
- Liaise and negotiate medico-legal understanding of restricted practice in Orthodontics to membership, government, all relevent statutory bodies and, or health care professional boards, the general public, the mass-media and all registered health funds when, where and how necessary.
- Use of letterhead and logo - only by any dentally qualified and practising member for all communications from private practice - except for office bearers communications as necessary.
- Provision of medico-legal and practice responsibilities/advice to all membership without prejudice.
- No person to be excluded from invitation and continuing membership because of discrimination - race, creed, gender etc.
- Encourage membership and institute to participate or provide initiatives in research science and education without prejudice - and - with provision of annual research, science and practice gatherings wherever possible and applicable.
